TIME Mag Pushes Back At Trump’s Claims

Back at it again with the preposterous claims.

Donald Trump tweeted out on Friday afternoon that he was “probably” TIME Magazine’s choice for their Person Of The Year issue, following up his feature for the same cover last year. In the same tweet, Trump claims that when he got the telling him that news, he turned it down since it would also mean he had to do an interview along with it.

Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

Not any more than a few hours later, TIME magazine wasted absolutely no time and made sure they clarified what the petty POTUS claimed. Though they didn’t say anything about having reached out at all, they did say that they don’t comment on who the choice for the cover is until it’s actually published.

The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. TIME does not comment on our choice until publication, which is December 6.

Donald has been featured on the publication’s cover over a dozen times recently, so it’s not blasphemous to think that he would be a topic explored by the editors. But it is super lame for y’alls President to have to announce to everyone that he supposedly would have been chosen for something, but decided not to on his own terms., latest News Around the world presents the latest information of national, regional, and international, politics, economics, sports, automotive, and lifestyle.
