The magazine explains the term "Silence Breakers" refers to "individuals who set off a national reckoning over the prevalence of sexual harassment." The magazine writes, "These silence breakers have started a revolution of refusal, gathering strength by the day, and in the past two months alone, their collective anger has spurred immediate and shocking results: nearly every day, CEOs have been fired, moguls toppled, icons disgraced. In some cases, criminal charges have been brought."

TIME editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal said Wednesday, December 5 on "Today", "The image you see partially on the cover is of a woman we talked to, a hospital worker from the middle of the country, who doesn't feel that she can come forward without threatening her livelihood."

In the image, there's also an elbow of another woman whose face is not visible. Felsenthal explained that the woman's arm represented the many women and men who are afraid to come forward with their own stories.

Speaking to the magazine, Taylor talks about a DJ whom she sued for groping her during a photo opp in 2013. "I figured that if he would be brazen enough to assault me under these risky circumstances," she says, "imagine what he might do to a vulnerable, young artist if given the chance."

She also recalls her feeling when she testified in trial for the case. "I had already had to watch this man's attorney bully, badger and harass my team, including my mother. I was angry," she shares.

Ashley, meanwhile, has come forward with her claim that she was sexually harassed by producer Harvey Weinstein. Also profiled by the magazine are Selma Blair, Terry Crews, Megyn Kelly and Rose McGowan.

Rose, who accused Harvey of rape, says, "The number of people sharing their stories with me is so intense, especially since all of this is incredibly triggering for me as well. People forget a lot that there's a human behind this, someone who is very hurt. But that's OK. It fuels my fire. They really f**ked with the wrong person."

Donald Trump, who was named Time's Person of the Year last year after winning the U.S. presidency, is chosen as the runner-up this year. The President of China, Xi Jinping, is the second runner-up.
