Tyga celebrates his 22nd birthday with Blac Chyna at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens on Nov. 18, 2011.

Editor’s Note: As Robin Leach spends family time in La Jolla, Calif., after returning from his annual Italian travels, many of our Strip personalities have stepped forward in his absence to pen their words of wisdom.

We continue today with Las Vegas-based fashion designer and “Basketball Wives L.A.” reality-TV starlet Angel Brinks, who puts the emphasis of showing skin into her peek-a-boo creations, and, in advance of AFAN’s Black & White Party on Saturday night, moving answers from transgender leader Jeremy Wallace. Here’s Angel with her take on sexy, glamorous and very revealing Las Vegas fashion styles:

Ten years ago, I left my hometown of Hollywood, Calif., and followed the flashy lights to Las Vegas. The city will always hold a dear place in my heart for all of the wonderful memories and experiences it’s given me.

I got married there. I gave birth to both of my children there. I’ve met some of my closest friends there. Five years ago, I combined my love of the city’s glitz and glamour with my passion for fashion and launched my self-titled clothing line Angel Brinks Fashion.

The brand features one-of-a-kind leggings, bodysuits, dresses, lingerie, rompers, denim and jackets for the edgy fashionista. The inspiration behind the line was to embody glamour, sex appeal, confidence and the performing arts that encouraged customers to embrace their inner star quality.

The Angel Brinks Fashion collection showcases designs reminiscent of a modern, sexy and seductive head-turning Las Vegas showgirl.

Featuring flirty fabrics and an array of unique embellishments, including sheer peek-a-boo cutouts, sequins, glitter, spandex, shoulder pads and more, my dream quickly became reality, and the demand for the collection went through the roof.

Women come in all shapes and sizes, and the female body is truly a beautiful work of art. I strive to create designs that accentuate a woman’s curves and highlight our favorite features, whatever that might be depending on your body type.

Fast forward to 2015, I’ve since set up a retail store in the heart of Los Angeles, an extension of my website, AngelBrinks.com. I also have had the pleasure of designing outfits for some of the industry’s hottest performers and most popular reality-TV stars including Ashanti, Blac Chyna, Coco Austin, Draya Michele, Lil’ Kim, Mya, K. Michelle and Trina.

Recently, I had the pleasure of designing outfits for E! “WWE Divas” star Eva Marie, Christina Milian and Farrah Abraham, all of who I am very excited to see wear my work.

I also am collaborating with celebrities to introduce their designs as exclusive custom pieces to the collection. There’s a lot in the works for Angel Brinks Fashion, and I promise to have more details soon. Maybe I can even get Robin to take the wheel as a co-designer? You never know!

Besides staying busy in the shop, I am excited to announce that I recently joined the cast of VH1’s hit “Basketball Wives L.A.” with the new season that began July 12.

It was definitely an interesting experience having your every move followed around for weeks at a time, to capture your ups and downs and, of course, you’re most vulnerable moments. I’m so excited to be a part of the show and can’t wait for all of you to see what goes down.

Keep in touch with me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook @AngelBrinks, and make sure you check out the website for all my latest designs.

Be sure to check out our other guest column today from transgender leader Jeremy Wallace in advance of AFAN’s Black and White Party on Saturday at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel. Also check out my visit with Shania Twain for her “Rock This Country Tour” stop Saturday night in San Diego.

We’ll have our final guest columns this week as I wrap my family vacation and return for Thursday’s premiere of Celine Dion at Caesars Palace and a star-studded Labor Day Weekend.

On Tuesday, our guests columnists are Buck Hujabre of “Jersey Boys” at Paris Las Vegas and Jane Cox, who keeps clients relaxed and beautiful at the Bathhouse in Delano Las Vegas.

Robin Leach of “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous” fame has been a journalist for more than 50 years and has spent the past 15 years giving readers the inside scoop on Las Vegas, the world’s premier platinum playground.
