Kendall Jenner has one of the most recognizable faces in the world, largely due to her success as a model and following on social media. But Jenner has some reservations when it comes to bringing her future children into the same spotlight.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star recently discussed her opinion of social media in the the February issue of Harper's Bazaar.
"You go online and you see everyone saying the worst things to each other, and it's hard to stay positive. It's hard not to get eaten alive by all the negativity," she told Cara Delevingne, Jenner's best friend and fellow model, who conducted the interview.

Jenner also opened up about her hatred of Twitter, "which is so not fun these days," and her documented wariness of Instagram.
"Lately I've just tried to stay off it, and I definitely don't look at comments."
She also revealed that she will likely have a strict policy on social media when she eventually has children.
"When you have children — because I know you're going to have loads — how will you feel if one of them wants to go into fashion and become famous like their mom," Delevingne asked. "Will you let them have access to social media?"
"I think I'll definitely put an age limit on it and try to keep them away from it as much as possible," Jenner said. "I always loved being able to play in my yard with my animals, and my dog, and my friends."
It's an interesting approach mindset, given how social media is synonymous with Jenner and her family. The model boasts an impressive 86.2 million followers on Instagram alone, making her the most followed model on Instagram in 2017, according to People. It's that following that many believe is the reason Jenner is so successful— though she thinks otherwise.
Regardless of her own use of social media, Jenner is onto something when it comes to the role social media should play in a child's life. She joins a parade of tech giants, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who are recognizing the negative effects that social media may have on a person's health.
Facebook has been launching efforts to create more "safe spaces" for young people using the website. Zuckerberg himself has expressed a desire for his two young children to spend more time outside than in front of a screen.
"The world can be a serious place. That's why it's important to make time to go outside and play," Zuckerberg wrote in a letter to his daughter, August, when she was born last summer. "You will be busy when you're older, so I hope you take time to smell all the flowers and put all the leaves you want in your bucket now."
In November, Sean Parker — the first president of Facebook — attacked the social media platform: "God only knows what it's doing to our children's brains," Parker said.
Even Apple founder Steve Jobs wouldn't let his children use the iPad, according to a 2014 New York Times article. Apparently he, not unlike Jenner, decided to set strict restrictions on how much technology his kids could use.
Jenner may already be on the right track when it comes to her parenting skills, but it's not likely that she'll have to worry about it any time soon.
"It's going to be interesting to see what the world is like when I do have kids," Jenner said. "But I definitely don't plan on having them anytime soon."
