Naperville’s fourth annual India Day celebration Aug. 12 will feature Indian Bollywood singer Sukhwinder Singh, who performed the song “Jai Ho” featured in the film “Slumdog Millionaire.”
The song won both an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media. It was included in the soundtrack for film “Slumdog Millionaire,” which won the 2009 Academy Award for Best Picture.
