Alyssa Milano claims her former business manager left her millions of dollars in debt in a lawsuit filed Monday.
In a complaint filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the “Charmed” star claims Kenneth Hellie and his accounting firm forged her signature, didn’t pay bills and taxes on time, made risky business investments and left her credit "in ruins," according to documents acquired by Us Weekly.
Milano also claimed that she was unaware of her financial situation and would have made different professional decisions if she knew, including signing on for a third season of her show “Mistresses.”
She announced in 2014 that she would not return to the soapy ABC series, citing a desire to stay close to home with her family.
Milano also claimed that she and husband David Bugliari spent almost $5 million on a home remodel for a house worth $3 million due to Hellie’s poor oversight, and also racked up more than $375,000 in fines for building code violations, according to Variety.
Hellie compared the situation to that of Johnny Depp, who has sued his manager for $25 million for “gross misconduct” of his finances.
The actor’s former managers in return accused Depp of reckless spending.
Milano is suing for $10 million in damages for negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and theft.
Her lawyer did not immediately return a request for comment.
